Due to continuing rain, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a "flood watch" for Sammamish and broad portions of the eastern Puget Sound region. A flood watch means conditions are favorable for flooding but it doesn't mean flooding is imminent or already occurring. The NWS advises residents to monitor the weather carefully until the watch is lifted.
