Instead of setting off your own fireworks, which is illegal in Sammamish, you are invited to join thousands of other city residents at the big fireworks display on July 4 at Sammamish Commons. This event, known as the Fourth on the Plateau, has become a huge community celebration over the past several years. In addition to the pyrotechnics, it features food, music, family-friendly play areas and much more!

Don't forget, it's illegal to possess or discharge your own fireworks inside Sammamish city limits. To help enforce the rules, the police department will be conducting fireworks emphasis patrols before, during, and after the Fourth of July. Those in violation will have their fireworks confiscated and may be fined up to $1,000. The Sammamish Police Department thanks you in advance for your cooperation!
