Sammamish police are investigating the first homicide in city history today. Initial reports indicate a deceased male was found inside a single-family residence in a south Sammamish neighborhood. Although police do not have a suspect in custody, Sammamish Police Chief Nathan Elledge says it appears to be an isolated event, and he doesn't believe there is any continuing danger to Sammamish residents.

Investigators are, however, looking for a dark green 2013 BMW associated with the homicide scene. It carries a Washington wildlife license plate with an eagle on it, # WW00333. If seen, please call 9-1-1.
