The City of Sammamish has the opportunity to nominate one outstanding Sammamish student for a scholarship through the AWC Center for Quality Communities, a 501(c)3 organization sponsored by the Associations of Washington Cities. As a member of AWC, the City of Sammamish is eligible to nominate one current 12th grade Sammamish student who will be attending a college or trade school in fall 2015. This nominated student will then go on to compete for a scholarship awarded by AWC in spring 2015. To be included in the City of Sammamish’s selection process, applications are due by Friday, January 30.

Your application will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of City Staff and you will be notified by mail no later than March 1 of the committee’s final recommendation. The chosen applicant will be recommended by the City to the AWC Scholarship Committee for final review and selection amongst the top WA state students.
