Do you like designing and building things that you have found in your own backyard? Are you between 8 and 12 years old? If you said yes to both of these questions, then come join ArtEast on September 19th from 9am-12pm at Lower Sammamish Commons Park and help us design and build a life size bird nest! Take part in the creation of an ephemeral urban treasure that will be a part of the making of Big Rock Park! See the reveal and exhibition of this life size bird nest at the Parks opening celebration in spring 2016.

The 2015 Rookery Nest Making Project is sponsored by the Sammamish Arts Commission, the City of Sammamish Parks and Recreation Department and ArtEAST. The Sammamish Arts Commission offers a year-round series of exhibitions in the City Hall Commons Gallery with a primary focus on regional artists.
