A family-friendly event open to all celebrating the upcoming annexation and welcoming our new neighbors to the City of Sammamish.This FREE event, on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include live music, bouncy toys, vehicles to explore, over 25 community service booths and lots of activities and giveaways. Food will be available for purchase.


Live music will be performed by Recess Monkey (10-10:45a), The Not-Its! (11a-noon) and Wally and The Beavs (noon-2p). Four bouncy toys are available for kids of all ages to enjoy for free. Most booths will offer activities and giveaways. Vehicles from Public Works, Eastside Fire & Rescue, Sammamish Police and King County Library System will be onsite for exploration.


Food trucks will be on-hand selling a variety of items. Just Jacks Food Truck serves custom made flapjacks. You pick the types of ingredient you want and they make them onsite then roll them burrito style so you can eat them without need plates or utensils. Sir Chef Pinoy offered authentic Filipino food, including chicken adobo, chumi noodles and pock bbq. Athena's offer Greek inspired fare from lamb or beef sandwiches to falafels.

Formal Ceremony

There will be a formal ceremony at 10:45a where City of Sammamish Mayor Tom Vance will be speaking.


The event takes place at Klahanie Park located at 25000 Klahanie Blvd, Issaquah WA 98029.


Parking is available next door at Challenger Elementary School, as well as long SE Klahanie Blvd.

This event offers an unique opportunity to showcase the amazing non-profits that make Sammamish such a fabulous place to live. A great way for new and existing residents to learn about services offered in their area and ways to get involved! City of Sammamish departments, divisions and commissions will also be represented. Booths will have information and most will be offering activities and giveaways to event attendees.
