The City is seeking an outstanding leader and manager to assist the City Manager in overseeing the City’s operations.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of achievement, extensive knowledge of city and municipal operations and a strong understanding of municipal finance and budgeting. The individual will have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, Accounting or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred as well as at least seven years of progressively responsible work in city government.

The salary range is $120,034 to $187,376. While the salary will depend on qualifications, the City will pay in the upper end of the range to get the right person. Benefits are excellent and the Director will be part of the Washington Public Employees Retirement System.
