Threadcycle Campaign Starts March 1!

Last March, King County Solid Waste Division and Seattle Public Utilities launched Threadcycle, a public education campaign to encourage the donation of clothing, shoes, and linens, in any condition except wet, for reuse and recycling. The official campaign period will run from March 1 - May 31.

Threadcycle webpage - This is the key resource to share with your residents. The webpage includes information about what items are accepted by the collection partners; where to find partners’ collection sites or how to arrange a pick-up; and answers questions residents might have about what happens to recycled textiles.
