Drivers: Prepare for nighttime closures of Southeast 62nd Street in Issaquah.

To minimize traffic impacts, 62nd Street will close for full overnight closures May 24, 25 and 26, 2016, as Sammamish Plateau Water conducts new water and sewer work.

Work will occur between 8 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday to Thursday for approximately one week, depending on weather.

The closures are not expected to impact north- and southbound traffic on Fourth Avenue Northwest and 221st Place Southeast, or the East Lake Sammamish Trail.

During the week of May 31, Sammamish Plateau Water will work from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Drivers should prepared for possible daytime traffic impacts on 62nd Street.

Watch the onsite portable message signs for more information.

The work is part a larger project to widen East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast. Throughout 2016, crews will add a new southbound travel lane between Southeast 56th Street and Southeast Issaquah-Fall City Road. To learn more about the project, go to issaquahwa.gov/eastlakesamm.
