In a city full of streams, lakes and steep slopes, the issue of stormwater is of vital importance. With that in mind, the city is holding a special Open House on Wednesday, July 27, 4-7 p.m., at Sammamish City Hall, 801 228th Ave. S.E.

Three topics will be covered:

  • The Stormwater Management Comprehensive Plan
  • The Surface Water Design Manual Update
  • The Low Impact Development Code Update

A brief presentation from staff will be offered at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The presentations will be followed by an opportunity for residents to gather around displays and discuss the issues with the city staff and expert consultants. We hope you can make it. We need your input!

Overflow parking is available at the Mary Queen of Peace Church or the Sammamish Community Center.
