As the economy has improved over the past year or two, the pace of development and construction in Sammamish has accelerated. This has raised concerns in the community regarding the clearing of trees, the impact on traffic and schools, and the changing face of Sammamish.

In response, the city is hosting a round-table meeting at 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday, Sept. 8) at City Hall, 801 228th Ave. S.E. Hosted by the City Council, Planning Commission and city staff, the meeting, which is free and open to the public, will feature a presentation on the challenges of growth, and small-group discussions of growth-related problems and possible solutions.
