Intersection Improvements
Overview
The City Council authorized funding to make minor intersection improvements such as turn pocket extensions and channelization modification to improve traffic flow and enhance driver experience. The project provided traffic operation improvements at five arterial intersections:
- 228th Ave SE & SE 8th St
- 228th Ave NE & NE 8th St
- 228th Ave NE & NE 4th St
- 228th Ave SE & Issaquah-Pine Lake Rd SE
- 228th Ave SE & SE 20th St
The project is currently under substantial completion.

June 21, 2018 - Design completed
June 25, 2018 - Advertised for bidding
July 10, 2018 - Bid opening
July 17, 2018 - Award project
July 27, 2018 - Pre-construction meeting
August 14, 2018 - Begin construction
May 2019 - Project completed
