City Hall to function as warming center

City Hall and other public facilities are closed for typical business Nov. 21, as crews clear away debris from this week's storm.  We encourage everyone to stay at home, shelter in place, until the roads are safe. If you need a place to warm up, City Hall will function as a warming center until 5 p.m.

Citywide Traffic Counts

Traffic Counts

The City of Sammamish collects traffic information on major roadway segments. These include daily volume counts and intersection turning movement counts (TMCs).  The city conducts these counts during the spring. This information supports various city activities, including:

  • Traffic modeling updates
  • Assessment of future project needs 
  • Traffic safety and operational improvements

Drivers should expect to see tubes placed on roadways when these are being conducted. These will not impact traffic flow. A map showing historical average daily traffic (ADT) at several locations throughout the city where these counts are conducted is linked below.
