My Sammamish App Provides Easy Access to City Resources 24/7

The City of Sammamish is launching its official smart phone app, My Sammamish – the newest way to stay connected with what’s going on throughout the city no matter where you are.

The app, which is available in the iOS App Store and the Android Google Play store, is full of features allowing residents to contact the city via email or phone; report non-emergency quality of life issues; easily view the City’s website, events calendar, and Connect Sammamish; and receive emergency notifications regarding weather, traffic, etc.

Like its predecessor, My Sammamish Fix It, the new My Sammamish app can be used to report non-emergency issues in Sammamish such as streetlights problems, downed tree limbs, potholes, or park maintenance concerns. The addition of easier access to the City’s website, calendar and contact information comes as a result of feedback from residents, and is yet another way the City of Sammamish strives to be open, transparent, and responsive to requests from the community.

The City plans to continue upgrading the My Sammamish app to enhance current features and offer more ways for citizens to connect with the City.
