Snow Information - Latest Updates

Update 12/2/22 

Road Conditions: It's cold out there - please watch out for ice. City crews worked throughout the night and have been checking priority routes 1 and 2 for ice today. Please note that if/when there is additional snow, crews will start over again with priority route 1 then 2 and so on. The Snow & Ice Route Map can be found here.  To learn more about how the City of Sammamish manages snow plowing go to the Snow & Ice Event FAQs page.

Power: There are no reported power outages in Sammamish at this time. To view the outage map and report outages, go to Puget Sound Energy’s website.

Solid Waste Collection: Republic Services is running full operations today. For service alerts, please see the Republic Services website.

Bus Service: As of 3:30 pm yesterday, all routes in Metro’s East King County snow area have returned to their regular routing. Visit for information about transit operations when it snows in Metro’s service area. 

City Parks Closed: All city parks are closed for the remainder of the week.

  • Service alerts about solid waste collection (garbage, recycling, and yard waste) can be found on the Republic Services website.
  • Visit for information about transit operations when it snows in Metro’s service area.
