Accepting Applications for Independent Investigation Team

Applications are being accepted for volunteer community representatives to serve on the Independent Investigation Team (IIT). Interested parties must submit their application by Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

An Independent Investigation Team (IIT) is required by Washington’s Law Enforcement Training and Community Safety Act to investigate the use of deadly force by a police officer when it results in death, substantial bodily harm, or great bodily harm.
