City of Sammamish Seeks Applicants for 2023-2024 Human Services Grant Funding

The City of Sammamish is seeking applications from eligible non-profit agencies for 2023/2024 Human Services grant funding. This funding is available for a variety of human service programs, such as food security, housing and homelessness prevention, health, mental health, youth services, and more.

The Human Service Funders Collaborative, representing eighteen participating King County municipalities including the City of Sammamish, will begin accepting applications for the 2023/2024 funding process on March 14, 2022. Organizations may apply online at share1app.org. Applications must be submitted by April 28, 2022.

Agencies interested in applying are encouraged to attend one of the Human Services Funders Collaborative Workshops. The workshops will cover application content, technical details, and city-specific information. These workshops will be held virtually and recorded.

The City welcomes applications from agencies that provide services to Sammamish residents and that:

  1. Meet minimum insurance requirements
  2. Are a State-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
  3. Are willing and able to accept reimbursement for funds
  4. Regularly track and submit required reports regarding services and demographics

The City of Sammamish Human Services Commission will review the submitted applications and present a funding recommendation to the City Council in the fall of 2022. Final allocation amounts will be approved and adopted as part of the 2023/2024 City budget. Awarded funds will be available beginning January 1, 2023.
