Streetlight Outage
Streetlights near Issaquah Pine-Lake Rd and SE 32nd St are off due to an issue with an electrical cabinet near this location. The city is aware of this and working on replacing this cabinet as soon as possible. Crews may be working in or near the roadway making repairs and drivers should use caution if they are present.
Stormwater Pipe Inspection
The City is inspecting its pipes along with cleaning and other services as needed on various roads throughout Sammamish. Work started Sept. 23 and is expected to last until the end of the year. There will be some traffic disruptions, but they are expected to be minimal, with occasional single-lane closures. Signage and traffic control will be in place when this occurs. Some of the City's major roadways are included in this work including: Issaquah Fall-City Road and Issaquah Pine Lake Road.
Monitoring Wells Installation
A total of nine monitoring wells will be drilled as part of a future sewer main extension designed by King County. Beginning Oct. 8, a contractor will be on East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast between Inglewood Hill Road and 3931 East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast to drill and install monitoring wells. Traffic control will be in place during this work. There will be alternating one-lane closures, which may cause some delays. Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is expected to last approximately 10 to 15 working days.
Work in Issaquah
The City of Issaquah will close a southbound lane on Issaquah Pine Lake Road at Southeast 48th Street Oct. 11 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Work is expected to be done on a signal pole.
Sewer main work
A private contractor is working on a sewer main on 19000 block of Southeast 24th Way. They will alternate traffic between 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. for the next week.
Puget Sound Energy Work
PSE will be trenching across East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast for power to the new Sammamish Plateau North Lake lift station.
Traffic control will be used with alternating traffic between 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Work is expected to last at least four days.
