Puget Sound Energy Work on Gas Main

Puget Sound Energy is currently working on replacing a gas main for about a month between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Work is being done on Northeast 16th Street.

Fiber Lines Installation

Ziply will install fiber along 229th Avenue Northeast and also along 230th Avenue Northeast. Minor traffic delays can be expected between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Stormwater Pipe Inspection

The City will begin inspecting its pipes along with cleaning and other services as needed on various roads throughout Sammamish. Work will start Sept. 23 and is expected to last until the end of the year. There will be some traffic disruptions, but they are expected to be minimal, with occasional single-lane closures. Signage and traffic control will be in place when this occurs. Some of the City's major roadways are included in this work including: Issaquah Fall-City Road and Issaquah Pine Lake Road.

Monitoring Wells Installation

A total of nine monitoring wells will be drilled as part of a future sewer main extension designed by King County. Beginning on Oct. 8, a contractor will be on East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast between Inglewood Hill Road and 3931 East Lake Sammamish Parkway Northeast to drill and install monitoring wells. Traffic control will be in place during this work. There will be alternating one lane closures, which may cause some delays. Work will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is expected to last approximately 10 to 15 working days.
