Cone Zone 12/20/24: Sammamish Traffic Updates

Ziply Fiber Installation

Ziply Fiber is installing underground high-speed fiber internet lines in select neighborhoods in Sammamish. Ziply will be reaching out to those affected neighborhoods with installation plans and schedules before they start construction. Expect minor traffic delays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. along local roads during installation.

New gas main line

Puget Sound Energy will be installing a new gas main in the intersection of Sahalee and Northeast 37th Way. Work is tenatively scheduled for Dec. 21, Dec. 23, Dec. 26 and Dec. 27 from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. A uniformed police officer will be controlling traffic at the intersection.

Sewer lines

A contractor for the new Brownstone development is currently trenching and installing sanitary sewer pipe on Southeast 222nd Street, south of Southeast 4th Street. Traffic control is on site and hours are from 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
