City Hall to function as warming center

City Hall and other public facilities are closed for typical business Nov. 24, as crews clear away debris from this week's storm.  We encourage everyone to stay at home, shelter in place, until the roads are safe. If you need a place to warm up, City Hall will function as a warming center until 5 p.m.

New Cross Cultural Senior Program in Sammamish

The City of Sammamish is thrilled to announce the launch of a new cross-cultural program specifically designed for seniors in our community. This no-cost program provides a space for seniors to come together, make new friends, and engage in a variety of activities that promote social, physical, and mental wellbeing.

Starting on March 15, 2023, the year-round program will begin at the Beaver Lake Lodge on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Sammamish seniors can drop in anytime during the open hours and participate in a diverse array of experiences, including socialization, exercise classes, creative arts, games, outdoor activities, music, informative workshops and nutritious lunches.

Advance registration is encouraged. For more information, please contact seniorcoord@iaww.org or call 253-234-9989 (extension #3).
