Sammamish City Hall Re-Opening Plan
Deputy City Manager Scott MacColl presented the City of Sammamish’s re-opening plan to City Council at its September 7th meeting. You can view the plan on our City Hall page.
The City’s plan provides a framework for re-opening City work facilities with the goal of protecting the health and safety of Samammish’s community members, customers, elected officials, and staff.
The Plan outlines a four-step process for reopening City facilities, but it does not identify a specific reopening date. Instead, the Plan relies on important data-driven indicators and milestones, such as the level of COVID-19 transmission, to determine when the City is ready to move to the next step.
While this Plan is implemented, Council, Commissions, and Board meetings will remain virtual at least through the end of October. City staff will provide another update to Council at the beginning of November.
