Sammamish Police Chief, Dan Pingrey, Accepts Promotion with King County Sheriff

I am happy to announce the promotion of Dan Pingrey to the rank of Major. Major Pingrey has held multiple assignments throughout his 34-year KCSO career, with his most recent as Chief of the Sammamish Police Department.
Major Pingrey has already assumed his new role as Major assigned to Precinct 2 which is headquartered at Sammamish City Hall. He will remain in the area as he oversees the responsibilities of Major for Precinct 2 which covers a geographical area of approximately 747 square miles. The Precinct is responsible for law enforcement in all unincorporated areas and four contract cities north of Interstate 90 to Snohomish County, and the east to Snoqualmie Pass.
