Sammamish Storm Debris Collection Event – Dec. 14, 2024

The City of Sammamish is hosting a Storm Debris Collection Event on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (or until the collection site reaches capacity, whichever comes first). This event is an opportunity for Sammamish residents to dispose of storm debris in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Time: 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Location: 2600 244th Ave. SE, Sammamish, WA 98075
    Please enter the site from northbound 244th Ave. SE. No left turns will be allowed into the site. See map below.

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • This event is only open to Sammamish residents.
  • Participants must bring a valid ID or utility bill showing a Sammamish address. 
  • Self-unloading is required. Please be prepared to unload your debris from your vehicle.
  • For safety reasons, children must remain in the vehicle at all times.
  • No commercial vehicles will be allowed.
  • No walk-up debris will be accepted.

Accepted Material:

  • Bomb cyclone woody debris only (organic tree materials, branches, and sticks)

NOT Accepted:

  • Leaves, dirt, or yard waste
  • Any bagged materials
  • Lumber, fencing, or decking
  • Food waste
  • Household trash
  • Construction or building materials of any kind

Important Information:

  • All loads will be inspected before being accepted.
  • The collection site will close at 12 p.m. sharp or when the site reaches capacity, whichever comes first. No additional cars will be allowed into the drop-off site after 12 p.m.
  • Please follow all staff instructions at the event site to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
