Town Center Plan and Code Amendment Open House
In 2024, the City will update the Town Center Plan and associated development regulations while updating the City's Comprehensive Plan to add future capacity for local housing needs and enhance the City's framework for delivering affordable housing.
Join us on Wednesday, February 28th, from 6-8 PM at Sammamish City Hall for light refreshments while you:
- Learn how the Town Center Plan & Code Amendment project will help bring more affordable & diverse housing to the community.
- Explore interactive booths featuring projects that reflect Town Center's vision of walkable, mixed-use spaces along with affordability.
- Engage with staff, advocates, and developers to share ideas and gain insights into transformative housing strategies shaping Sammamish's future.
The Open House is designed for adults. Children are welcome to accompany their parent(s)/guardian(s), and an unsupervised activity will be available for them to enjoy.

Metro Flex
Metro Flex provides community members rides anywhere in their service area for the same cost as a bus trip. Metro Flex picks up passengers from their location and drops them off at their destination within a specified service area. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made in the following ways:

Community Van
Community Van is a rideshare pilot program. There is a two-passenger minimum, with each rider paying a Metro one-zone fare for the round trip. Trips must be scheduled two business days in advance by contacting the Community Transportation Coordinator or online.
Accessible community vans are available upon request. Inform the Community Transportation Coordinator about your needs before your trip.
