Update on Republic Services Customer Credits for Klahanie Residents

Republic Services has a contract in place for solid waste collections for Klahanie and a few other areas that were recently annexed that is not managed by the City of Sammamish. Instead, it is regulated by the Utilities Transportation Commission (UTC). Republic Services has a separate website for Klahanie residents: https://www.republicservices.com/municipality/klahanie-wa

Republic Services is in direct conversation with the UTC on customer credits for Klahanie residents affected by the January snowstorm and labor disruption. While the City of Sammamish has no governance over Republic Services’ contract for Klahanie, we have asked Republic Services to keep us informed so that we can help provide updates.
