Heritage Garden

The City executed an agreement with the Sammamish Botanical Garden Society (SBGS) in January 2021. It was for the joint operation of the 6,000-square-foot heritage garden at Big Rock Park Central.

The SBGS led the design and planting effort for the garden. It will also be responsible for ongoing maintenance of the garden. This garden will showcase planting choices from over 100 years ago on the plateau.
