Project Overview

The City will update the Town Center Plan and associated development regulations in parallel with the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update.

These updates will ensure alignment with the 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update, add future capacity for local housing needs, and enhance the City's framework for delivering affordable housing.

The update, referred to as the Town Center Plan & Code Amendment project, began in January 2024 and is expected to be completed by October 2025.

Key steps include:

• Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement review and commenting - early Spring 2025
• Draft Town Center Plan updates review & input - early Spring 2025
• Draft Development Code updates review & input - late Spring 2025
• Planning Commission final review - Summer 2025
• City Council final review and adoption  - Fall 2025
