About
The City Clerk's Office provides a variety of services that support the City Council, the City Departments, and the Sammamish residents:
- It is our responsibility to coordinate the City Council meetings, the production of meeting materials for Council Meetings, provide public notification, and produce meeting minutes.
- Other functions of the Clerk's Office are to manage public records requests, and to help recruit members to serve on a variety of City boards and commissions.
- The Clerk’s office is responsible for records management to include retention, archiving, destruction, and disposition of City records. Including the preservation of historical documents and official documents and records, such as ordinances and resolutions.
- We oversee the Sammamish Business Licensing, issue Solicitor’s Licenses, and manage all awarded city contracts.
- Serves as the liaison to King County concerning elections.
- The City no longer provides notary service for the public.
